DNA Connect is one of the most exciting features of the Koko Genetics DNA test. It is a free service included in your account that allows you to discover and connect with other pets that are genetically related to your dog or cat, provided they are also part of our database.
To guarantee the maximum privacy of all our clients, this service is completely optional. In order for the results to be visible and for you to see the list of relatives, it is essential that both you and the other user have expressly accepted the conditions to participate in the DNA Connect program.
How does the tool work once activated?
Using DNA Connect is very intuitive and is designed so that you don't miss any news about your pet's biological family:

Your list of relatives: Upon giving your consent, a new section called "DNA Connect" will appear within your private account. There you will be able to view the complete list of your furry friend's genetic relatives that we have detected.

Email alerts: You do not need to constantly log in to check your results. Every time our database finds a new genetic relative of your pet, the system will send you an automatic email to notify you.

Private chat for families: If you want to talk to the guardians of your pet's relatives, you just have to select the user in question from your list. A secure chat will immediately open from where you can send them a message. Similarly, if they start the conversation, you will receive an email notifying you that you have a new message.
