Get the Starter Dog DNA Test to obtain information about the breeds and physical traits your dog's genes are eager to share. Both of you will get access to:
- The list of breeds your dog comes from. We will tell you which breeds and in what percentage your dog belongs to, from a list of hundreds of options. You will also see their family tree, where you can check the breeds of their ancestors up to their great-grandparents.
- Which physical traits your dog has from a list including, among others, eye color, coat color and style, or even the MDR1 gene for drug metabolism.

From a simple saliva sample and from the comfort of your home, we can offer you one of the most complete genetic analyses. The laboratory extracts the DNA, and the geneticists read and interpret the results.
To do the test, you need to swab the inside of your dog's mouth and collect as much saliva as possible. We leave it to your discretion that if the puppy is too small or nervous, you wait for it to mature before performing the test.
We use the latest Microarray technology from Thermo Fisher Scientific, which contains 700,000 genetic markers. The process is repeated many times as an internal quality control to ensure the most accurate results.
